Am I ever slow!!!!

Wow! What a slacker I am. For this blog to be my family journal to be able to print out yearly, I have not done to well the last couple of months. Since I last wrote there has been alot of happenings but ya.....it is hard to remember. So I will just do a mixed up version.

Christmas came and went and it was alot of fun. Mike had to work all through the holiday so it was different without him home all the time. It was good that they let him work because it really helped us out. The rest of us was just really lazy!!!!!and we loved it.

Sydney decided to not go back to Colorado and I liked her decision. She felt is was just not for her and the pressure of playing volleyball on a higher level. She came home with her car full of all her stuff. (It took 2 cars to get her there) She just shoved the stuff in bags and believe me it was full. She said she can pack alot better that me! She started right in Bridgerland Applied and it getting her CNA. She wants to go into nursing so she plans to be starting USU in the fall.

I have to laugh because when I was sick she had a hard time dealing with me and what we had to do to take care of me. She gets grossed out with about everything so I really hope she can handle it. Nursing is a hard job and I admire anybody who can do it. She is still looking for a job and I hope she gets one soon!!!!! They are hard to come by right now.

Karli is still going to Cosmetology School and still likes it. She seems to be a natural at it and does very well. I went over and she did a waxing test on me. I thought she did great but some of the other models that went I felt sorry for. One lady had was all over her and the poor girl was having a hard time getting it off.

Nathan is still just as funny as ever and still never slows down. He bought a new little German Short hair puppy and named her Ellie. She is pretty cute and for me absolutely not wanting another dog she has grown on me.

Gidget had puppies in Oct and she 8 of the cute little critters. All I did was take care of puppies in Nov and 'Dec so was I ever glad when we finally sold all of them.

Mike and I are still the old boring parents that we have ever been. Yes we are getting old when some nights we just don't want to go out but choose to just stay home and sit by the fire. Well he doesn't sit by it because he would have it 60~in here all the time if he had his way....but I keep the thermostat cranked as much as he can stand. I would have ti 90 in here all the time if I had my way!!!

They split the ward and now we are in the Mendon 4th ward. Mike it the Elders Quorum Sec now and I got put on the RS Enrichment Committee.

So you can see we have not done alot of nothing fun. No trip to the Swiss Alps or to the warm sunny beaches of Cancun. Some day maybe but for now we will sit in the cold, foggy, Cache Valley and freeze, but I kn;ow that spring is just around the corner and then we can go outside and sit and look at the beautiful Mendon Mountains. They are beautiful year round and yes, I do love this cold, foggy, freezing and snowy Cache Valley!!!!!
